Configure Rotating Red Dots

Bug Description

The one color I'd like to configure seems to be unconfigurable. If I click on a planet, say, Venus, it gets selected and has four red small lines ("dots") rotating around it until something else gets selected. The color of these dots is too bright for my taste; I'd like to configure it to a darker color.

I tried all RGB values in the config file (using an sed script), none had any influence on these dots.

Is there any way to configure the color or otherwise appearance of these dots?

Wow, that was a fast fix & check-in! Thanks a lot :-)

I wish all projects would solve small issues that fast …

What if we want to turn them off? Can we just use 0 for the color value? Will they actually disappear or will they still be there, black, and able to eclipse an object (mainly other stars)?

Now if we want to turn off markers of planets then we can make it.

I just tried this with Stellarium 0.14.3 and had no success. The entry in the config file seems to be ignored; the color of the dots is unchanged by it.

Can it be that after nearly four years this fix hasn't been deployed yet?

It's not astro/planet_pointers_color = 1.0,0.3,0.3 but color/planet_pointers_color = 1.0,0.3,0.3. There it works nicely with 0.14.3.

Note that astro/flag_planets_markers = true is correct and that there it is 'planets', not 'planet'. (Took me ages to see that. Long live copy & paste.)
