update of Precise Pangolin fails

Bug Description

I am usingubuntu 12.04 LTS.
My software centre is corrupted. Does not open.
I have problem with update manager.
I can not update and get the message as in the attached png file

I'm not convinced this is a bug, especially not a bug in ubuntu-docs (Ubuntu).

You can open a terminal window and try:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

Otherwise http://askubuntu.com/ is one good place to ask for help with using Ubuntu.
