Bug Description

Steps to reproduce:
- gpodder has files in $HOME/gPodder/Downloads/*
- attach & mount device, like USB key, portable mp3 player, or external harddrive
- start gpodder
- check configuration (Podcasts > Preferences > Devices ) has correct 'Mountpoint' setting.
- sync to device with menu Extras > Sync To Device (or Ctrl+S)

Expected:
- status bar message "now synching files to device" or dialog box showing progress

Seen:
- program terminates
- message to stdout (not stderr?) "Segmentation fault (core dumped)"

I used /usr/bin/strace to find what was the syscall that got the segfault... last lines in the systrace log are:
gettimeofday({1381858186, 686913}, NULL) = 0
open("/usr/share/icons/elementary-xfce/mimes/16/audio-mpeg.png", O_RDONLY|O_LARGEFILE|O_NOATIME) = -1 EPERM (Operation not permitted)
open("/usr/share/icons/elementary-xfce/mimes/16/audio-mpeg.png", O_RDONLY|O_LARGEFILE) = 22
read(22, "\211PNG\r\n\32\n\0\0\0\rIHDR\0\0\0\20\0\0\0\20\10\6\0\0\0\37\363\377"..., 4096) = 514
????( <unavailable>) = ? <unavailable>
+++ killed by SIGSEGV (core dumped) +++
