Bug Description
In Launchpad it is possible to mark a bug attachment as being a patch, but it is not possible to mark a patch as being obsolete. Deleting the attachment often will not be appropriate, as a patch may be obsolete while still containing useful ideas for a later patch.

There is a mechanism by which an attachment may be marked as "not a patch" within the edit attachment interface. There may be an ACL associated with this mechanism, but it is a possible workaround until this bug is addressed.
