Impress UI goes unresponsive while processing slide with an audio file

Bug Description

During a presentation, or while slide thumbnails are being generated in the normal view, the UI becomes unresponsive when any slide that has embedded audio is encountered. In authoring mode, the UI goes gray. In presentation mode, the UI just freezes and encounters a long pause before the audio is auto-player.

This does not happen with video files. I've tried both OGG and WAV audio files, and each kind is problematic.

The auto-added attachments don't look sufficient. Is there a way I can send logs?

Another item to try would be to upgrade to Ubuntu 13.10 and see if the new version of LibreOffice fixes the issue.

The bug is reproducible in Ubuntu 13.10 with LibreOffice 4.1.2.3. I will attach an example of the bug with instructions in the first slide and a second slide that causes the bug.

I confirmed this on Saucy. It's also relevant that this does not affect
12.04 with a LibreOffice 4.1 PPA.
