Bug Description
Binary package hint: mirrordir
I'm using mirrordir to backup my files to an FTP-server, and as the man file says:
"Mirrordir duplicates device/special files and file/directory access times exactly."
But when I try to mirror from local HDD to FTP, the access time and modification time of the file has changed. I have tried the options --access-time and --restore-access, but with no effect.
Is this supposed to happen or is it a bug? If not, how does mirrordir preserve times?

Thanks for reporting. Well, of course the atime will be different as you are accessing the files when you transfer the files from/to FTP. The mtime is dependent on the FTP server. I know of the MDTM ( I think ) FTP command but that only reads the mtime. I know of no FTP commands for setting mtime. So, I'm going to mark this invalid.
