Bug Description
Usually, when you boot an ubuntu installation disk, it detects OSes already installed on the system, and gives you the option whether to delete everything and install Ubuntu, or install it alongside the existing OS in a dual boot mode, or manually manage partitions.
However, if there is Windows 8 installed, it doesn't detect it and does not offer the option to install Ubuntu alongside the existing Windows 8. The only 2 options are to delete everything and install ubuntu, or "something else" (i.e. manually edit partitions).
