Does this issue go away if you boot back into the previous kernel version? It looks like you may have been running 3.11.0-9 before applying the updates?

No, on kernel 3.11.0-9 same issue. I try susped/resume from shortcut and also on connected power adapter but non success.
Maybe this is problem with udev ?. I sure that susped/resume work correct before 3th October.

The Ubuntu 3.11.0-8 kernel was released on Sep 23rd. Can you give that kernel a test to see if it exhibits this bug:

Joeman, as per http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/default.page? an update is available for your BIOS (3.22). If you update to this following https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BiosUpdate , does it change anything?

If not, could you please both specify what happened, and provide the output of the following terminal command:
sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date

Please note your current BIOS is already in the Bug Description, so posting this on the old BIOS would not be helpful.

For more on BIOS updates and linux, please see https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs#Bug_reporting_etiquette .

Thank you for your understanding.
