[gutsy] azureus crashes at start with any java; ***MEMORY-WARNING***: [8570]: GSlice: g_thread_init()

When I start azureus, it crashes immediately after the main window shows up. The message is similar, regardless of java version:

Hi!
i i am a Java developper and i think this error has nothing to do with the source of Azureus there is some problem with the glib for java und the JVM itselfe

i use feisty with a BEA Jrockit JVM an i never had such a problem...

I had the same problem, fixed it by deleting the ~/.azureus directory (the config files) and then starting azureus normally.

I have the same problem. Deleting ~/.azureus does not fix it for me. :-(
