nouveau E[ DRM] fail ttm_validate - screen freeze

Totally random freeze, mouse is moveable and able to enter console via ctrl+alt+f2. If I wait a few minutes sometimes longer, it works normal again but will freeze again randomly. To reproduce, just run any program and it will eventually hang at some point. It's impossible to work with nouveau driver because of this. This is what I got from kern.log:

I'm on Nvidia propriety driver now, but it's not as good as nouveau driver due to some blurry font here and there.

I believe I am having a simmilar issue. random crash when I hover over the task bar and summary window pops up above a task. Doesn't happen all the time. More often when running virtualbox and/or vlc. The following is a c&p from kernal log on the last crash.
