Bug Description

1) Ubuntu 13.10 GNOME development branch
2) Latest packages 4 Oct 2013
3) I expected nothing out of the ordinary
4) It just showed up at startup.

It happened after installing nvidia-319 and nvidia-prime (I suspect nvidia-prime is conflicting with gnome). There are also other problems (gdm fails to display anything - lightdm works with graphical glitches, resolution capped at 640*480)
