Bug Description
The email indicator in the panel does not show emails from Geary anymore. As far as I understand this happened, because the Geary team decided to not support the indicator applet in Ubuntu 12.04 anymore.
Unfortunately this affects Elementary OS, but it can be fixed by the Elementary OS team by providing their own package for Geary.
I consider this high priority as updating the system will break functionality that is intended by Elementary OS (and also reported to work in the getting started guide).

1. Made sure "Show notification when new mail arrives" was checked
2. Closed Geary program
3. Sent email to account set up in Geary from webmail
At this point I didn't get any notication, so marked confirmed.
Maybe it should be a bounty.
