Bug Description

Probably on other non-i386 as well. It unconditionally calls vbetool, which is
i386-only.

Additionally, it would probably be wise to turn it into a proper init script
which pays attention to its argument

acpi-support (0.17) hoary; urgency=low

  * Use acpid locking functionality finally (Hi, Martijn!)
  * vbestate:
    - Test for existence of vbetool
    - LSBifiy
    - Convert to a true init script
    - quieten
  * Check whether package has been removed but not purged in init script
