Previously, it used to force shutdown my PC. But after a few reboots, it is only failing with this error.

Arch Linux? Why don't you report it upstream then? Upstream is at Github:

Can you try installing the linux-lts and nvidia-lts packages?

This bug happens not only on Ubuntu. When I start programs with optirun, it hangs up for few seconds and then shuts down my computer.

I think the issue is with Primus but however, bumblebee is broken and optirun doesn't work with my nvidia optimus card.

Unfortunately I removed Arch so I can no longer reproduce or provide more information on this bug. Sorry.
