the machine freezes when commanded to turn off

Bug Description
The problem occurs randomly, one day well another day off will freeze, and you can not even get the console, and restarted in the X functions, have to use ctrl + alt + print + reisub.

It will update the kernel and is still happening, I realized I had novau drivers thought it was problem of video, so upgrade to proprietary, but it still has the problem.
