Bug Description
Binary package hint: nautilus
Description:
When a a non hidden folder is renamed so that it becomes hidden enter and double left clicking no longer open that folder/file and instead do nothing. This problem is only contained within that window, when a new window is created this problem does not exist. However, Alt+Down arrow, single right click -> Open, and Ctrl+L then typing in the path, still work.
How to reproduce:
This has only been tested in my home folder. Choose any folder that is not hidden. Single Right Click -> Rename and add . to the begining making it hidden, press enter.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.
Under Ubuntu, if the name of the folder begins with a point, then it is a hidden folder. It isn't a bug.
