libfriends tests take eternally / too long

Bug Description
This prevents publishing of friends stack, and also hurts publishing others since daily release system gets stalled.
The tests halt after make check-TESTS, for example this armhf ran for 4 hours before forcefully stopped:

Libfriends itself hasn't had changes, but it's the only one hanging this way and does it consistently since yesterday.

libfriends now removed from daily release so that it wouldn't block it.
