Some full screen games looks wrong on Unity

I am trying to play Age of Mythology using Wine under Unity, but when the game goes full screen the screen looks off. I'm attaching an screenshot of the issue. The game looks correct when I play it on Gnome 3 so this bug is on Unity or in Compiz.

Is also a problem in Ubuntu 14.04 and Unity 7.1.2. Either when using unity-system-compositor or not.

After updating to Compiz 0.9.11+14.04.20140214-0ubuntu1 and unity 7.|.12+14.04.2014217-0ubuntu1 the problem is still present.
