Installing 13.04 crashes when installing GRUB

Bug Description
Installing 13.04 with raided partitions for /, /boot and /home. Everything is ok except that GRUB won't install.
/dev/sdh + /dev/sdi = /dev/md0 (/root) and /dev/md1 (/) [MBR based]
/dev/sda + /dev/sdb + /dev/sdc = /dev/md2 (/home) [GPT based]
Tried installing GRUB on /dev/sdh, /dev/sdi, /dev/md0 and /dev/md0p1 - all fail and crash the installer
