Thank you for reporting this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.

We can merge the new upstream release once Debian has packaged it. Note that we're in feature freeze now, so save for an exception this won't happen until after Saucy's release.

Amavisd-new 2.10.1 was released on 2014-10-26. This version is also in Debian jessie and Ubuntu Wily isn't frozen yet.

So it seems that we have all the conditions to ask for a merge. The automatic merge fails because of an apparently trivial conflict on debian/control (see https://merges.ubuntu.com/a/amavisd-new/REPORT for details).

Unassigning for now as we're too far feature freeze now. We will need to revisit early next cycle.
