reboot instead of shut down after suspend

Ubuntu 13.04 64bit on Lenovo T430u

The computer reboots instead of shutting down when issued the "shut down" command (both from terminal and gui) after waking up from suspend. If no suspend had intervened the computer powers off normally.

What i guess is that someone should turn off his wireless conection, suspend, and then shutdown his system to see if that is the issuse.
