Rick for me, searches just mostly come up blank, so I cannot confirm this specific bug, other than to say all of my music is listed, but searching doesn't work in many ways.

If you're having trouble with searches, you may be seeing bug 1227130 (which I've got a fix for). In short: the version of the scope in the archive is only matching whole words rather than substrings.

this bug report is about expanding the "songs" to see all songs. It's not about searches.

One other thing to note: the scope currently imposes a limit on the number of results that are returned by a search (currently 20). Could that explain what you're seeing?

That is probably too low (I see that the Banshee scope at least seems to use 100 as a limit).
