Bug Description

I have my home directory running on btrfs mounted with the following options:
/dev/sda2 on /home type btrfs (rw,relatime,ssd,discard,compress=lzo,subvol=@home)

When I use gedit to edit a lua-script (not specifically gedit - it's the underlying component I think, because the same happens with ZeroBrane Studio), the file gets deleted, but saving will not work saying that there has been a conflict.

Trying to save anyways will yield many conflict files:
mfritsche@volta:~/Documents/btw$ ls fetchPages.lua*
fetchPages.lua~ fetchPages.lua.u1conflict.1 fetchPages.lua.u1conflict.3
fetchPages.lua.u1conflict fetchPages.lua.u1conflict.2

I have "eatmydata" installed too.

Is there a problem with the combination of btrfs, ssd+discard, eatmydata and gedit?

After a while of leaving gedit alone, I can save the file again.

u1conflict - files seem to indicate a problem between gedit and ubuntuone

affects: gedit (Ubuntu) → ubuntuone-client (Ubuntu)
