I suspect that all your crashing problems are related. Can you hold off filing new bugs until such a time the cause of your original crash can be identified? Can you also indicate whether crashes occur when you use the open source nv driver?

yes I realised it too. Got at least 30 of them one after the other so
stopped immediately. It happened only after the reboot after the update,
subsequent logins are ok. Whats strange is I started receiving crash
reports of apps that were not even running.
