Bug Description
I could not install the Broadcom Proprietary Wireless drivers on Ubuntu 12.04, so I tried:
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get autoremove --purge bcmwl-kernel-source
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install --reinstall bcmwl-kernel-source
It appears that one of the boot modules was not found.
I got:
Error! Bad return status for module build on kernel: 3.8.0-30-generic (i686)
Consult /var/lib/
.
Fatal: Module wl not found.
I'm very new to this, so I'm not 100% sure what it means (sorry). Please help?
