Bug Description
Binary package hint: usplash
When I pass vga=791 to kernel options, usplash resolution gets messed up. The logo gets BIG and appears in bottom right part of the screen. Actually it's not only vga=791 that causes this problem. All graphic modes I've tried have the similar influence on usplash. I have also tried installing another usplash theme which as well gets messed up, convincing me that the problem goes with usplash itself.
I'm using a ATI mobility radeon X1300 card. This didn't happen in Edgy.
If you need more information, please tell me (would be better if you also tell me how to get it).
Try changing the resolution in /etc/usplash.conf to match the vga=* resolution that you're setting up ('dmesg | grep "vesafb: mode"' if you're not sure what resolution you're picking) and regenerate your initramfs with "sudo update-initramfs -u".
