Refuses to trash a directory "because" it's not empty

Bug Description

I selected two folders (which contained files) and hit the Delete key. I got the nonsense warning shown in the screenshot:

"Unable to trash file: Directory not empty"

Since when is that a reason for not being able to move a directory to trash???
I have done the same hundreds of times before. Usually, when a folder is not empty, it used to be moved to trash with all its contents without issues.

I can't reproduce this bug on Files 3.26 on Ubuntu 17.10 so I'm assuming this bug is fixed.
