Dependcies problem but ran an apt-get -f install and it was installed. System keeps complaining about this, so must be a bug.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and trying to help make Ubuntu better. However, Ubuntu never provide a package fpc with real content, so if your old fpc package contains files, it looks to me that you didn't get the original package from Ubuntu. I know one PPA that provides a all-in one package of fpc. Because of this the Ubuntu project can not support or fix your particular bug. You probably should uninstall fpc first and then continue.
