Bug Description

Savanna is a project to manage Hadoop on OpenStack - https://launchpad.net/savanna

Fedora / EPEL packages - https://apps.fedoraproject.org/packages/s/savanna

Puppet modules - https://blueprints.launchpad.net/savanna/+spec/puppet-savanna

A Savanna deployment has three components: 0) the savanna-api service, 1) the python-django-savanna plugin to Horizon, 2) diskimage-builder customized cloud images

The savanna-api service must be deployed with access to Nova, Glance and network access to instances, and must be accessible from the Dashboard. It is typically deployed on the OpenStack controller.

The python-django-savanna plugin must be deployed within Horizon and needs access to savanna-api, and other components typically accessible to Horizon (nova, glance, etc).

The customized cloud images are user loaded either via the Dashboard or via glance CLI.
