Applications lens does not reflect changes to .local/share/applications

Steps to reproduce (on maguro):

1- phablet-flash ubuntu-system --no-backup
2- Go to app lens
3- Install click application from store

Expected result:
Installed application shows up in the Installed scope

Actual result:
Application only shows up after restarting.
