Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox
When using Firefox 1.5.0.12 (on Ubunti 6.06.1 LTS) to connect to a ftp server running the Microsoft FTP Service, the year column is misinterpreted in quite an embarassing way. Embarassing, as it looks like firefox had an Y2K-issue of correctly using year strings.
Sample from ftp://ftp.

The ".104"-files really are from 2004.
When using netkit-ftp or lftp, both display the year colum "correctly":

Thank you for your report,
I'm not able to reproduce that behavior. Please upgrade to latest firefox version in Ubuntu 6.10 (2.0.0. 4+0dfsg- 0ubuntu0. 6.10) or do a full upgrade to current ubuntu release (7.04). If you still have this problem with updated packages please reopen this report.
