Bug Description
I think this tool is useful and could be send upstream. I copy-pasted the shell script and I worked out-of-the-box on Debian testing.
I sent an e-mail to the MOTU mailing list (http://<email address hidden>
Without any answer, I plan to do a request to Debian to include it.

I do agree that showfsck is a useful application and would make it easier on those of us who also mess about with Debian, as it is a utility that is already used in the 'buntu community. Trying to get it included upstream would be great. Sometimes due to the raw volume of emails that can get received, some get overlooked. If someone from MOTU doesn't comment on here in the next 5 days or so, I'd go ahead and send down another email.
