X freezes when running Firefox

I started firefox in a clean session, and everything has stuck.

from when the freeze is happening?

Unfortunately those are either the wrong log files, or at least not helpful.

Does the freeze still happen after a full system update?

Sorry, no idea. Unity was so slow at times on that laptop that I stopped using ubuntu alpha.
