"lock screen" option doesn't work (always locks)

Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-screensaver
Steps to reproduce:
1) go to "system > preferences > screensaver"
2) uncheck "lock screen when screensaver is active"
3) close
Then, when the screensaver goes on and you move the mouse or press a key to resume your session, you are prompted for your password even though the checkbox in step (2) is unchecked.
I solved this by changing the gnome-power-manager options like so: I opened gconf-editor, navigated to "/apps/
This is a fairly small bug, and the solution is to make sure "lock_use_

I've tried several different screensavers and haven't been able to reproduce this bug. Has anyone else been able to get the result so that we can confirm this?
