movie and sound out of sync

when i play a selected movie from my external drive the quality is poor and picture and sound are out of sync considerably

Thank you for your bug. Does it happen with any video and format? Does it happen if you play is with "gst-launch-0.10 playbin uri=file:///path/to/video...."?
