Bug Description
Binary package hint: debian-installer
Looks similar to bug 23952. When I installed Ubuntu (and GRUB, by changing the place where GRUB should install) to my USB-disk, it failed to configure correctly automatically. I had to change menu.lst myself (swapping the disks) to get it working.
