Bug Description
I apologise in advance for not knowing exactly what package to report this against. Hopefully this can be triaged by someone more knowledgeable.
I just upgraded a system from Precise, briefly via Quantal to Raring. On Precise, a mounted RAID array showed in the Launcher and in the nautilus sidebar with an icon of stacked hard drives, which made a certain sense.
Since upgrading to Raring, all I have in the launcher is a big "?" icon for that mounted filesystem. In the Nautilus sidebar there's just a no-go kind of icon (red circle with red diagonal bar through it). If I navigated to /media, in nautilus, by default it just had a Directory icon; when I tried changing it to something else, that didn't affect either the launcher or the nautilus sidebar.
Other mounted filesystems, specifically one mounted via firewire and another on eSATA show up as expected.
The RAID array has been mounted with the option 'uhelper=udisks2' so that it would show up. This is in common with the other external-drive volumes, which have been mounted automatically but which the output of 'mount' also shows as having 'uhelper=udisks2'.
It basically looks like there's a missing icon that used to be there, that indicated a mounted raid array. Some kind of alternative would be better than the question-mark / O-slash I'm getting now, if someone's decided RAID arrays shouldn't be represented...
