Bug Description

I can install fogger and create web apps, but when I try to open those apps, for example Gmail or Facebook, it keeps loading.

I've tried several versions of Fogger, for Oneiric, Precise, Quantal and Raring, and I'm having the same problem.

hereś my output:

(fogger:14103): Gtk-CRITICAL **: _gtk_tree_view_column_autosize: assertion `GTK_IS_TREE_VIEW (tree_view)' failed
Xlib.protocol.request.QueryExtension
rgb(74,51,30)
self.app.save()File "/opt/extras.ubuntu.com/fogger/fogger_lib/FogApp.py", line 178, in saveself.maximized)

I'm using Ubuntu 13.04, 64 bits.

Thanks.

I would like to very this bug, getting the same issue here. It appears like fogger loads the webpage (since it changes the window title to the title of the webpage), but then it just sits there loading endlessly.

I know this bug report is super old but Fogger is pretty much DEAD . . . I found a solution that I have migrated to.

Midori is a lightweight browser that has Application support, these applications have individualized sessions just like Fogger but also has added benefits of being a full browser.

Midori Applications do not have the level of integration with Unity that Fogger had but basically there are so few apps and so few Unity integrations with the Fogapps that do exist it really doesn't matter. (I abandoned my two fogapps years ago because of Owais abandoning Fogger.)

Anyway, check out Midori . . . it solves most of the stuff I wanted and even more. - http://midori-browser.org/
