Just following up here. It'd be great to get this one-liner reviewed and merged; as of now, Midori is crashing multiple times a day for me due to this bug. It's pretty embarrassing to ship that to our 200,000 Luna users.

The related branch doesn't "fix" whatever actually goes wrong, so I unliked it. Someone still needs to investigate the deeper problem.

I agree with kalikiana. My branch was a band-aid. The real issue is yet to be tracked down.

An easy patch would be to restart immediately -- and give the friendly *sorry* message saying -- please wait till the tab loads.
It took me couple of times to understand what is happening, and I am a professional tester. So am sure it would take more time for ordinary users to comprehend what is wrong.

using midori ppa in ubuntu or elementary os doesnt show this bug so it is a granite build problem i guess
