Bug Description
When I choose to suspend, no problem. When I try to wake, laptop powers up, but to a totally blank screen, not just faint. No keyboard actions make a difference. Can not reboot to fix black screen, must remove battery and charger first, then reboots fine. Certain it has something to do with this HP pc, as my Asus works perfectly.

If reproducible, could you also please test the latest upstream kernel available (not the daily folder) following https:/ /wiki.ubuntu. com/KernelMainl ineBuilds ? It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please comment on which kernel version specifically you tested. If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following tags: fixed-upstream fixed-upstream- VERSION- NUMBER
