Bug Description

As the summary says line-in and aux are missing as playback mixers in the volume
control. line-in or aux are used by my tv tuner to provide sound.

Check the preferences dialog and see if they can be enabled there. Not all
controls are enabled by default.

I already looked in the preferences, everything is checked and they are not
displayed in playback but in capture. it used to work fine in 4.10 however it
may still be a bug with the new alsa drivers, my sound card is a C-Media PCI
CMI8738-MC6, if it helps.

line-in in capture seems to be right to me ... what's wrong with it ?

my tv tuner uses line-in as an output to play the sound, so for me it is
playback (and for some others with crappy tv tuners it might be aswell). I'm not
sure if this justifies a change but from my point of view it would make sense.
