Bug Description
I was trying to play with the autopilot test for connected scenarios today. I'm seeing a few types of failures that seem inconsistent. The net result is that the test (I'm only tried sending an SMS) fails pretty often. The issues I've seen are:
1) sometimes the "conversation" tab can't get activated. Usually a reboot is required to fix this.
2) after entering the phone number, the text box for the message won't become active and able to accept input
3) sometimes after entering the phone number, and message, the send button isn't active
Sometimes just retrying them works, sometimes it requires a reboot and a couple of retries.
This is on the 20130815 for mako.

i'm testing the .deb locally and things have improved. It seemed to work well, then I rebooted. The first try it failed because the "send" button wouln't become click-able.
I've now rebooted 4 times and see the test fail the first time I try for each attempt. It then works if I re-try the test.
Is it possible I'm trying to send the SMS before the phone is ready or something?
