Leaved the computer running and when I returned 12 hours latter the gnome-panel was crashed. Don't know why.

Apparently gnome-control-center was crashed too, may be related? Reported that too (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/121249)

There was beryl-manager running, but the active window manager was metacity
(actived beryl for a while, deactivated it and forgot to close the tray
icon)

I'm trying to get a backtrace manually, but i'm surprised because apport
doesn't generated it like it do in feisty testing...
