Update list looks empty but it is not

I run update manager (Software Updater) and I have some updates. But I cannot see them in the list. It happens since a few days ago. See attached screenshot.

I can confirm this. I have been noticing this for about a week now. I wonder if it has anything to do with the phased updates http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2013/08/phased-updates-to-start-rolling-out-for-ubuntu-13-04

@David Turner - should not be related, but who knows? From that I understand that some users will get the updates earlier and then others, and so on. We got the updates, I could update, but I did not see what I just updated. Good that the old sudo apt-get upgrade shows the package :))

I confirm this bug. Here are also some attachments. It displays the size of the update, but not what.
