failed to install mundus_2.3.2-1_all.deb in Debian Wheezy

Bug Description

Following the package info the installation depends on gambas3 packages with version >= 3.0.90. Debian Wheezy provide the required dependencies in version 3.1.1. But executing mundus fails with an error

ERROR: #2: Cannot load class 'Main': Bytecode too recent. Please upgrade Gambas.

Using the source (mundus-2.3.2.tar.gz) and changing in debian/control the version from 3.2.90 to 3.1.1 allows to create a working *.deb for Debian Wheezy.

cheers

Thanks for the bug report!

There is an error with the way gambas3 is packages for debian, not to mention that those packages are way out of date. It is something we are trying to fix, but it's not easy.

In the meantime, i recommend you add this repository instead.

deb ftp://ozdocit.org/pub/easygp/ easygp main
deb-src ftp://ozdocit.org/pub/easygp/ easygp main

You will find the latest available version compiled for debian wheezy. It is maintained by the same guy that manages the official packages.
