Bug Description

When installing Elementary on my Mac Mini 2011 in a Parallels VM, the keyboard layout is wrong, no matter which DK layout profile I select. The letter and number keys are mapped correctly in both capital and non-capital

Affected combinations:

Option +
----
any key

This prevents the following from working:
Unmodified: $1234567890+´å¨æø'<,.-i
Modified: ¡“§£∞™¶[]≠±'‘~äö@≤‚·–|

without @ logging into many websites is impossible, rendering Elementary effectively unusable.

shift +
-----
4 should be €, is some weird square symbol

This could be a problem with Parallels but searching google and duckduckgo for related issues hasn't revealed anything so far. I would test a native install but that is prevented amongst other issue, the inability to install on EFI (Matthew Garrett did some work to make such installs work on Fedora but never got the Mac Mini 2011 model with a Radeon GPU to boot under such circumstances last I checked and that is the model I have)
