Bug Description
Binary package hint: ubiquity
This seems to be the same as bug 58909.
I can only give a vague description of my system since there was no real user interaction.
Via chipset with two SATA drives, 160GB and 250GB.
Each was partitioned as one full drive NTFS partition.
The installer attempted to read the partitions and sat there, never displaying the partition info. I finally attempted to close the installer. This is when I received the crash message.
On the second attempt, without a reboot, the installer correctly detected the partitions and allowed me to repartition one of them.
Thanks,
John

Could you please start the installer with 'ubiquity --debug' in a terminal window, reproduce this crash, and attach the resulting /var/log/ installer/ debug, /var/log/syslog, and /var/log/partman to this bug? Thanks.
