Bug Description

This issue is hard to explain, just recently my Inkscape has been acting funny. When I select any tool sometimes it won't let me or it just behaves weird, not letting me select anything else after I picked it. For example I select the rectangle tool, it won't let me select the circle tool.

I screen grabbed it, the video shows the problem.

I use Inkscape a lot for my web design, I really need it to work. I've been using Inkscape for four years so i still hope I can still continue to use it.

Just before it started doing this I was uninstalling programs and deleting junk off my laptop. Inkscape seems to be the only software affected by it. Right after that I did a factory restore, redownloaded Inkscape and the problem was still there. :(

Any help would be great.

Likely the same issue as already tracked in
- Bug #1131428 “Loss of correct mouse focus, Win 7 64bit”
  <https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/1131428>

Exact reasons not yet known, based on user reports it does affect other Windows ports of GTK+ application as well (e.g. GIMP).

Don't hesitate to comment if you think it's not the same issue.
