Bug Description
When I run apt-get update and apt-get dist-upgrade, the MySQL server fails to upgrade with the following information:

start: Job failed to start

TEMPORARY WORK-AROUND:
start the MySQL server with: sudo mysqld_safe
This may only be possible if a previously stable/installable MySQL server has been running.
