When I run apt-get update and apt-get dist-upgrade, the MySQL server fails to upgrade with the following information:

 mysql-server depends on mysql-server-5.5; however:
Package mysql-server-5.5 is not configured yet.

Errors were encountered while processing:

start the MySQL server with: sudo mysqld_safe
