German Neo2 layout does not recognize Mod4 keys

Bug Description

The version of the Neo 2 keyboard layout shipped with Ubuntu does recognize the Mod4 keys properly and thus does not grant access to the level 4 and level 6 keys of the layout. This problem has already been fixed upstream [1] and needs to be fixed in order to make proper use of the Neo 2 layout.

Are you using Neo 2 as a secondary layout? If so, then this is a duplicate of bug #879838 .

(By the way, neo-layout.org is not the upstream for keyboard layouts, xkeyboard-config is.
